When pulling the boat onto the Golden Ball Slipway this morning the skipper noticed several young Herring Gulls hounding a poor little Razorbill on the slipway.
So we have gained an extra passenger for today's fishing trip where it can rest in shelter on the wheelhouse roof at midday the Razorbill took off to join some passing by Razorbill.

Fishing was steady all-day with some quite periods and little flutters of fish.
Overall the anglers caught cod, Pollock, pouting, whiting, ballen wrasse and a single mackerel.
We did manage to get a few fish on feather so with the tides slightly easing away.
During the 3 hour trip the customer managed to see plenty of seals and harbour porpoise.
The 3 hour trip was extremely slow with no fish showing for a good hour or so and when bottle nose dolphins turned up on the fishing ground heading south we realised why.
Once they had passed the customers managed to catch a few pouting, and Pollock.
