We wanted to share an honest update with all our amazing customers. Like many other local skippers, our owner and skipper has recently taken on another job to help support his family.
Those of you who know Nick will understand how much this new role means to him — it’s something he’s been working towards and hoping for for a long time, and we (his family) are incredibly proud of him.
Because of this, we'll be running fewer trips for the time being. This actually lines up with our original plan, as we always intended to take a break over the winter, just as we have in previous years.
We’re not closing or selling the business — Skylark is still very much here. Trips will run as and when his main job allows, and we’ll continue posting availability as soon as dates open.
Prior to these changes, we had already decided in October to suspend all trips until April 2026, as we had canceled many trips due to the sea and weather conditions and the slower-than-usual catch rate.

✨ Skylark Tackle will continue to operate as normal, with no changes to opening or service.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding. It means the world to us. ⚓💙
