09.08.25 Catch Report

8hr trip 8 till 4

Windy conditions today so we stayed tight in seeking cover from the land.

Had codling and mackerel onboard the boat in the first few minutes of the trip fishing NE Corner.

Drifts were fast with the wind so we kept venturing further afield to seek some shelter

We were then passed by bottle nose dolphins heading south towards Scarborough.

The customers ended the day with a good amount of mackerel, cod, whiting and pouting as well as plenty of big ballen wrasse which were returned.

3hr trip 4 till 7

Best fish of the trip was this 3lb 3oz cod. A good amount of mackerel also caught aswel as pouting.

Added bonus to the trip was bottle nose dolphins passing as we headed home.
